Managing Director

Having graduated in 1977 with a UK Hospitality Degree, Iain entered the world of  commerce by taking on the position of Managing Director of the family event catering business in Glasgow and has remained in hospitality for over 40 years.

During those 44 years, Iain has worked as a General Manager and Consultant Manager across the UK and the Middle East for a wide variety of organisations, from international corporate companies such as Marriott and Radisson to UK national companies such as Swallow Hotels (when part of Vaux Breweries) as well as smaller privately-owned businesses.

Iain has spent much of the last 25 years in the Highlands of Scotland as both a unit-based General Manager and also operational across multi-unit businesses, interspersed with the different experience of 5 years consultancy in Dubai.

This wide spectrum of hospitality experience has formed sound and knowledgeable business practices with a strong appetite for success. Ensuring an enjoyable working environment, excellent guest satisfaction and strong financial performance have always been the main pillars of a healthy hospitality business and also the foundation of Iain’s ongoing focus for any business in which he is involved.
