Andy has seen a long career in corporate hotel-keeping in the UK, initially with the former Stakis Hotel group, and latterly as a founder General Manager in the MacDonald Hotel Group holding GM roles across Scotland, latterly as a Regional Director in Aberdeen, overseeing multiple units.
In 2006 he formed his own Hospitality consultancy which was charged with the development of Meldrum House in Aberdeenshire from a 9-bedroom hotel to what is now a 56-bedroom four-star hotel and golf resort, winning numerous awards including AA Hotel of the Year.
Andy is also a Director and stakeholder in Banchory Lodge Hotel in Royal Deeside that has developed under his stewardship to become one of Aberdeenshire’s foremost country boutique hotels with an enviable Food and Beverage operation.
Andy has used his background in corporate hotel-keeping to recognise potential in all areas of hospitality and has become expert in designing a product to match the needs of the potential target market.
